# Withdrawing your funds

> Switch to the Withdraw tab, review time-windowed withdrawal fees, then approve and withdraw at the vault's realized unwind value.

1. On the same page, switch to the **Withdraw** tab.
2. Enter an amount of your Stable or Alpha tokens, or use **Max** / the slider.

3. Check **Withdrawal Fees** before confirming. It's time-windowed i.e., inside 30 days of your deposit on Stable, 7 days on Alpha. So, withdrawing soon after depositing can cost more than waiting.
4. Click **Click to proceed**. Same two-step pattern as deposits if an approval is needed: **Approve Withdrawal**, then **Withdraw**.

5. Success gives you a toast, a confirmation modal, and a transaction link.

One thing this screen doesn't spell out: you're paid what the vault actually realizes unwinding your position, not always the exact number shown going in. See → [\[Risk disclosure\]](/security-and-risk/risk-disclosure) before a large withdrawal.
