# Choosing your tranche

> Compare Stable Yield Farm and Alpha Yield Farm side by side, then open a tranche to see Downside Protection or Yield Multiplier.

Open **All Farms**. Each vault shows two tranches side by side:

* **Stable Yield Farm** : a **Fixed APY**.
* **Alpha Yield Farm** : a **Current APY**.

That's all the list page shows. Click into a tranche to see the number that actually matters before you deposit : **Downside Protection** on the Stable side, **Yield Multiplier** on the Alpha side. Both only appear once you open a specific tranche's page, not here.
